The Bible has deep resources for our lives. That conviction fueled the writing of Picturing the Gospel, as it has my teaching and leadership for years now. Below are some of the topics I might be able to serve your group with as you look for resources to live for God. And if I touched on something in the book but you don’t see it here, just contact me and we can talk. God has richly provided for us in the Scriptures and the stories of his people, and I’d love to help you get in touch with that provision and gain more of the life he has for you. |

We can look at the gospel images in any format; a one-time sermon, an evening or day-long workshop, or a weekend retreat. The longer time we have, the more we can use exercises and times of reflection to deepen our understanding of the gospel pictures and sharpen our ability to speak them well. |

The Bible narratives are not just for children. If we allow the Scriptures to speak in their own voice, and learn to step into their stories, they can provide a powerful framework for our lives. (This material can be for whole congregations, or focused for leaders and teachers.) |

The Power of the Story |
|
People wrote the Bible, God has wrath, Jesus said he was the only way to God, we are called to trust and follow Someone we can’t even see. We will try to provide space for disciples and seekers to wrestle with these facts, and some frameworks to help them think it all through. |
